This may just be a personal hangup, but I get really annoyed almost every time I read a review of a Muse album.

I was on Spotify earlier looking at what Muse they had on there, and I came across reviews of OoS and Absolution, both which just made me want to cry.

Reviewers just seem to slate them hugely, bring up the 'Radiohead mimics' line as often as possible and try and tell us they're stupidly pretentious. I think the line that got to me most was that they were 'pillaging other people's ideas' and had no self-respect. Like hell.

Has anyone here ever read one that hasn't made them despair? Am I the only person this gets to?
