Who loves Buffy?

I myself am a bit of a Whedon freak. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity, X Men comics... this makes me sound geeky doesn't it.

I am a huge Buffy and Angel fan!!! I loved Firefly, obv didnt see it while it was on tv, downloaded it but it was so good, shame it got cancelled, but then we got Serenity

I have heard that he is making a comic of Buffy set after the end of Angel.
It will be season 8 sounds cool!!

Yeah, that should be coming out in March. Have you seen giant Dawn? She gets turned into a giant for a good part of the series! How cool.

Do you like the art for it that Jo Chen's done? I'm not sure what I think of it.

Haha. She does the cover art. It's really nice looking, it just looks a bit weirdly disproportionate. I'm not sure.

aww that sucks, I must be lucky then. They had quite a few of ep3 but no 1 or 2, had to order them in for me, which he ordered on friday and I got tuesday. Just read them all!!! woop! so bloody good I tell ya.

If you wanted I could get you 3, but then you'd still be missing 2? pm me if you want 3 I can check it out and see if its still there

Though I've never heard of Serenity.. What is it about?

those comics look rad. Never seen them in France though... Mind you the comics I buy these days are mostly The crow.. I did get the Vampire Lestat, which was awesome.. ::: plans a trip to the comic book shop :::

Well Firefly was a tv series Joss did, that got cancelled half way through. I know in the US they didn't even show the last episode and messed up the order of the last few they did show! Fans of Whedon went super crazy when it was canceled and got enough names that they made a Full Feature Length film which was released in the Cinema. Serenity

The series is set in the year 2517, after humans have arrived at a new star system, and follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a Firefly-class spaceship. The ensemble cast portrays the nine characters who live on Serenity. Whedon pitched the show as "nine people looking into the blackness of space and seeing nine different things". The show explores the vicissitudes of people who fought on the losing side of a civil war, as well as the pioneer culture that exists on the fringes of their star system. In addition, it is a future where the only two surviving superpowers, the United States and China, fused to form the central federal government, called the Alliance, resulting in a fusion of the two cultures, as well. According to Whedon, nothing has changed in the future: there are more people with more advanced technology, but they still have the same problems politically, morally, and ethically.
