Full Name: Christopher Anthony Wolstenholme
Born: December 2nd 1978, Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Instrument: Bass Guitar, vocals, occasional keyboards.
Chris was born in Rotherham on the 2nd December 1978, and moved to Teignmouth in 1989.
He wasn't really interested in music to start with, but started to play guitar when he was at school, and joined a band. Later, he became a drummer in another school band. After line up changes in Matt and Dom's band they asked him to join them, but as a bass player.
He previously worked in a guitar shop.
He is married to Kelly and they have three children.
Chris's favourite bands include Korn, The Deftones and Helmet.
He is an avid follower of Rotherham United Football Club
He broke his hand while on the Cure's Curiosa tour in the USA after a tackle with Didz from The Cooper Temple Cause
Matt says his worst habit is farting
He was complemented for his bass playing by Sir Paul McCartney after Muse's headlining slot at Glastonbury 2004
He started of as a drummer
He collects James Bond films
When he was growing up he wanted to be a footballer and hung round with all the sporty kids
He uses his fingers to play bass rather than use a pick.
He sometimes plays guitar on stage, and keyboards during 'Blackout'
He worked on an ice cream van ''executive position, mind''
He once soundchecked for Status Quo in Plymouth in 1997
