I cannot decide if ghosts exist.
I've had freaky things happen to me, whether they were paranormal or not, I dunno!
I watch Most Haunted and rather than convince me about ghosts existing, its actually made me think no they don't!
Anyone got any stories/events/theories?

did you see the live Most Haunted thats just been on though Ali? that was some scary stuff, Stuart and Carl and john all got clawed! Stuart and John badly enough to have to go to hospital! that made me think that maybe it wasnt quite as staged as i thought it was! bring back derek though
my mum has had so much stuff happen to her, she worked in one of the most haunted national trust properties in the country, and provided most of the stories for the Ghost Walks we have here! So yeah, i think there is something here with us, whether its just imprints of memories, or whether its actual spirits coming back for whatever reason, theres is definitely too much evidence around to ignore in my opinion _________________

I watched the Hallowe'en ones because I'm from Edinburgh and yes, the scratches were all a bit scary, but I think they should have two cameras and not just the one, one on Yvette and the other on the crew.
I prefer David, Derek was a bit to 'wide boy' for me, I was never convinced by Derek, but David has a better manner about him.
I dearly want to believe in them, I used to work in a haunted pub and too much stuff happened for me that cannot be explained, but I'd like good decent evidence!
I'm also convinced my grandad is still in his old house in Edinburgh even though he died 15 odd years ago. When I went up for my Gran's funeral it felt like he'd come to see me _________________

aww i love Derek, but only because hes so theatrical, when hes "talking" to Sam he makes me laugh so much! i also think that the rapport between Derek and Yvette was warmer and more genuine, but yeah, i know what you mean, David is more professional i guess, but not nearly as "lovey" hehe!
I love this subject, i find it fascinating, but also scary, im such a wuss, i can watch ghost stuff, but then it comes back to haunt me at night when its dark, and im alone but i do believe in spirits hanging around, maybe they have something to finish, im not sure! i think your grandad will still be there Ali, probably your gran too, they were probably really happy there together and some residual energy (thanks for the lingo Derek) will still be there, its comforting really! _________________

| Yes, I have had stuff happen to me in the past, but my beliefs in the after life don't correspond with their existence, so I am struggling to believe in them. |

i think a lot of people dont believe until they actually see something tangible! not just weird happenings, they have to have proper proof! to be honest i can live without that proof! im just a wuss! _________________

i think a lot of people are, why would you just believe someone else, without seeing for yourself but i must admit the evidence is quite staggering to support the fact that ghosts exist, but im happy not having any proof if any ghosties are reading this board!! _________________

| maybe it's not that they re ghosts, but they are in another parallel dimension and just kind of pass through ours for a minute or we can see them doing things, but they cant see us..I really have no idea |

i dont know though, because if thats true, then how do poltergeists manage to throw things, or unseen hands push people down the stairs, it would seem that the spirit as a force is here on this plane with us somehow _________________

you see its those things that makes me be a half believer, as I did experience being pushed out a door when my friend was doing a kind of reading in an old house..but when I think back, I dont know if i did it just on purpose and over time I believe it myself!
