Ok, so I know me and Ali for sure loved Jordan Catalano! but I couldn't really remember if I had seen all the episodes.

Stephen acquired the one and ONLY season for me and I have currently watched 2 episodes.

It's quite strange watching it, considering I was 14-15 the last time I did. Angela the main character is also 15, so her problems are pretty different to mine right now. Although now, watching it back I can so see myself and my friend in her and Rayanne. Me being the naive Angela my friend the alci Rayanne.

Anyway, I think watching it now, you see it on a different level to how you did back then. I hated the parents parts in the show when I was a teen haha, now I can see their sides more logically. I can also see that Jordan seems like a total looser 2 episodes in and I want to smack Angela! haha
Also, Angela is so dramatic, so most things she says that I probably thought were cool, seem so lame and funny now.

Saying all this though, I can see how as a 15 yr old I would have empathised with her.

Has anyone else watched it since they were younger? Do you think you will feel any different to it now then you did?

I watched this when I was younger and I really loved it. In fact I remember fancying Claire Danes at that time, though I also remember her funny friend has nice legs. I haven’t watched it again recently (though I would like to), but it sounds very interesting how differently you perceive it now.

I do recall her father once taking the piss out of them saying ‘like’ a lot. And they sure did. I even commented at one point they should have called it My So–Called Like.

I felt sad at the ending because I empathised with her male friend, whose name I forget, as she goes off with Jared Leto.

Brian Krakow was the male friends name, he was just as much of a looser in another way. He would not let go of his fantasy for Angela and ended up fucking up his chances with a really nice girl, all for the chance of maybe dancing with Angela. Also he was quite the stalker haha
