Thank you so very much! Now what could I say to open a thread featuring me as the topic? Something life–affirming and thought–provoking, about the state of the world and how to solve our various crises and squabblings? Erm… Nah, mate, naaaah. I’ll just post a piccy of me instead, haha!

I don’t actually look like that anymore. I shaved my beard off completely on Saturday. Not sure I like how it looks at the mo. I’ve not seen my naked face in nigh on 2 years (perhaps longer) so my face looks all weird and shrunken to me, haha.

lol at you saying your face appears shrunken, my boyfriend has a huge beard too and shaves it every time we have moved, the last time was over 3yrs ago and he looked so odd lol The face does look shorter all of a sudden but you get used to it, he just grows the beard straight back in though haha

I think I had a better summer up here last year, than you guys!
It's already around 14 most days, which for us is boiling! haha

I do hope yous have a better one this year though, I can't stand to hear my parents complain again!
