as a science nerd i know all about this stuff...*pulls out physics book*
ok, we are in danger because!as far as we know, black holes suck up everything!and so we cant destroy the no matter what, no matter the size..especially if two SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLES where have we heard that before, eh? COLLIDE, THE whole dang universe explodes to obliteration..but we're not worried bout that now...now since there is a dormant black hole at the center of every galaxy, our chances are pretty low of getting sucked into one and stopping time, oh and turning into giant spaghetti through worm holes...[dont ask me how i know all this cool stuff]
now looking at the pas and even present day, earth has almost come to extinction by man made issues, including the cold war like almost BLOWING OURSELVES UP AND CRAPS...so, what makes us think that this time something wont go wrong and suck us into a vacuumy doom?we dont really have that much info OR the whereabouts of blackholes [xcept theyre in the center of a galaxy and blah] nor do we know how fast they move. but, we know they get big fast, with the more they suck in. what they suck in doesnt come out. our own mass obliteration is eminent![ok, no its not, but u guys know that sounded cool, i just need a cape now to cue the moment]
black holes cant be controlled, because tey just grow with the mnore mass that they suck up. the lab are just more baby food for these things..why would we even make one anyway?
ok, my stooopid ramble is over

I saw a show a couple of days ago about this...i giggled everytime they said supermassive black holes...sad i know
It was actually really interesting  I didn't know that there was a black hole at the centre of every galaxy...until i watched that show...
