I saw in a different thread that someone was having a barbecue, so I thought I would create this one!

Isn't the weather nice? What's everyone doing to enjoy it?

I've been laying around in the sun revising unfortunately, as my exams at uni are over the next two weeks. The only fly in that ointment-logic is that as soon as I get into the sun I get immensely sleepy...

I hate this weather.

For the sole reason of Hayfever. I've not enjoyed the last 3 days (or today) in the slightest due to constant headache, being bunged up and itchy eyes and the general 'down' feeling.

The usual stuff that used to keep my hayfever under control now doesn't, so I'm having to go and see the doctor about it.

aww Chris, I have to change stuff each year as invariably the stuff i use one year never works again the next! think I have found something but it makes me drowsy which aint no good really!

I cant be arsed to go to the drs, spent my childhood there with hayfever, have countless tests and even more injections to try to combat it
never worked

I've been given medicine for hayfever, but it's not working. I think because I have PNEUMONIA!!!! Silly doctors are guessing because they can't work out why I'm not better. But surely I'd be aggravated by pollen...?

Are you still not over the pneumonia?! Hope you get better quick, must suck to have to keep getting checked on by docs and that!

Well the weather is pretty good over here too, not crazy hot like you guys, but enough that I can get away with no hat and a light cardi/jacket haha

Went out for a walk and a film last night was beautiful, thats one good thing about Iceland, the bright summer nights

Will have a link to the video tomorrow if yous wanna see how pretty it is

it has been beautiful weather and today it is hotter still...watched the sunrise this morning and just knew it was gonna be another scorcher...and I am on nights...so have to go to bed with the sun streaming in and the birds tweeting...plus we are right next to a National Trust garden so there are bound to be loads of visitors making noise too *grumble

aww Ham are you still poorly   really hope you're feeling better soon

and re hay fever there are loads of people suffering at the mo who have never had it before or so bad...my youngest has got it for the first time age 10 and has been feeling pretty rotten...

Oooh let's see the video Karen! I envy you in so many ways for where you live....

Started feeling really ill today again   so having to go back for another x-ray. Also (major moan here) I have been told by the doctor that I have to do FOUR steam inhalations a day (IN THIS HEAT!) and drink 12 cups of liquid a day - mostly HOT drinks. It's like heatwave torture.

On the plus side, revision in the sun!

Sarah, sounds annoying having tourists tramping around everywhere making noise...
