Finally! Muse are playing a local Devon gig at The Den in Teignmouth (a local park) on September 5th and 6th. They will be doing the first public performances of songs from the upcoming album, The Resistance.

So who is going? I am SO HAPPY they're doing a Devon gig again (being a Devonshire girl).

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT WAS SO AMAZING!

On the first day when I was waiting in the queue in the morning, there were loads of people filming for BBC news. They interviewed me and I was on TV three times talking about Muse! I was asked why it was such a special gig and why I had got there so early. They also put two other people on, but I was the first and the longest interview that they showed.

The second night was the best. On the first night I was one row behind the barrier, second night I was in the PERFECT position. I was right on the barrier, centre-left, so as to be directly in front of Matt. Because we queued early, we were second to be let in!

So yeah, the supports on the Friday were a bit shaky. The Quails were alright, but Cosmo Jarvis was just plain WEIRD! Of course on Saturday we had Zane Lowe breaking up The Sea (who were really good) and Hey Molly. There was sooo much waiting around because we were let in at about 5.30 on both nights and nothing came on until 7.30! Obviously I arrived in the morning both days too so I am soooo achey now.

Muse. Were. Phenomenal.

The light show was magnificent too. There were proper big green LASERS that went over the entire crowd like a cage! Truly spectacular.

I got all teary both nights, it was awesome. On the second night when I was directly in front of Matt, I was (I confess) doing a lot of screaming "I LOVE YOU!!!" in the quiet moments. The first time I did it, Matt DEFINITELY heard because he kind of looked down and did this really cute little smile! I'm hoping it's on film somewhere (the 5th was all filmed properly). Anyway, I continued screaming various things very loudly until my last chance at the very end of KoC, when I screamed REALLY high and REALLY loudly "IIIIIIII LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!" and Dom came to the microphone (as everyone else left the stage) and said "I love you too. You're deafening."

It was SO amazing.

Anyway, I'm very very bruised today and completely exhausted and SO HAPPY. I cannot believe that he said that.

I also made friends with a very cool Muser called Nikki who I am going to meet up with at the O2 weekend (who I'll try and badger into joining the forum!) and we went to try and find Matt afterwards on the Friday but the security was absolutely insane.

I bought loads of merchandise on both nights - a Resistance hooded zip up top which is black and blue, a white Resistance t-shirt, a black Seaside Rendezvous t-shirt and a brown one with a different design, a Eurasia flag to tie around my shoulders, a Seaside Rendezvous mug and poster, and a stick of Muse rock.

Awesome, awesome weekend.

But it's all going so crazy right now, everybody's talking about Muse lol I just love it.
