This is a scary awakening I had this morning as for all British and american people and everyone is concerned by the human beings. It seems the world escaped from a new disaster but the threatening is always among us, everywhere. Our Mankind must live in fear or in a selfishness bubble to have a decent life. I'm in US and must take the plane from New York. It will be the real mess I think. I'm not scared about flying but I'm frightened about what they are going to plan once more.

My brother in law and his family are over here just now and due to go home to Chicago on Monday. its scarey.

Personally I dont think the security here is anywhere near as tight as it is in the States. When we went we spent ages and ages through security, checking physically in our cases, shoes off through the scanners. Here they just dont seem so bothered.

I think this was inevitable though with everything that has happened over the last few years, and expect more to come. It does not put me off flying though.

i'll second that, steve. racism is going to be at it's peak now and even i do it.if u walk past any asian ethnic person now (despite the fact they may not even follow religion) u can't help thinking...."oh my god...whats he carrying??!!" there'll be a hell of a lot more racial attacks against them now, esp in places like London, manchester,liverpool,birmingham etc

I honestly don't feel threatened by terrorism, I live in a nothing town with nothing that terrorists could possibly target. What does scare me is the future of terrorism because I don't intend to live in this nothing town for the rest of my life. It is good that they caught them, though I think our governments could be bringing it upon themselves... the U.S. and U.K. can be blamed for the mess. We're intervening where we needn't. Especially the U.S. It's ridiculous, we make everyone hate us.

'A huge ‘terror plot’ has just been uncovered in London. “This was intended to be mass murder on an unimaginable scale” say the London Metropolitan police. Britain's terror alert, accordingly, has been ratcheted up to its highest-ever level with security services, military and police now on “severe specific” alert.

Not to be left behind, even though the list of unanswered questions, irregularities, and discrepancies continues to grow with each passing hour, the obedient Western media jumped at the occasion ensuring a spate of spectacular cover stories and anti-Muslim tirade.

As usual, though the facts are still coming in, the media is dutifully following the open-ended cues provided by the US and British governments, and reproducing the handed-down script without a pause for the facts to emerge fully. With an indecent haste, government enforcers have already slapped ridiculous restrictions on travelers, with mothers having to taste baby milk before they board planes and all hand luggage, including liquid drinks, being banned etc etc.

If there indeed was such a plot, then by its uncovering innocent lives surely have been saved and just in time too. If not, then let us thank God for that and hasten to analyze the event from a slightly closer quarter as it has happened a little too conveniently for certain personages of rather dubious repute and vile agenda.

Consider the following:.

The Anglo-USraeli juggernaut is on a roll and under fire at the same time. George Bush’s Iraq jaunt has spun out of control with his own top General now openly admitting the possibility (read happening already) of a civil war in that unfortunate country. With the US president’s ‘war on terror’ now thoroughly discredited by renowned policy specialists, his approval ratings stand at a historical worst for any President of United States in opinion polls. Tony Blair is beleaguered by his own party men for his sycophantic support of Zionist extremists. Israel is getting some lessons in humility from the rag tag Hezbollah fighters raising fears among its supporters in the West. Iran not only remains defiant over its nuclear program but also continues to provide both overt and covert support to Hezbollah and Hamas. Syria, uncompromising as ever, watches on quietly for now yet ready to jump into the melee come the calling. In short, it is a mess and THE ISLAMISTS are clearly responsible for all this. Undoubtedly, a single major distraction capable of killing a whole slew of nasty birds was the crying need of the time.

Not surprisingly, therefore, clichés that are the corner stone of Anglo-American policy for global hegemony like ‘Islamic Terror’, 'Bin Laden', 'Jihaadis', ‘Al-Qaeda style attack’, ‘suicide bombers’ and ‘security of Western citizens’ etc. are back with a bang with this latest buildup. The smear machine has had gallons of oil thrown on its creaking cogs and is in full gear instantly. At the same time, to breathe new life into the stalling agenda of their masters, crawling out of the woodwork are these states’ instruments of coercion and control such as the CIA, MI6, Mossad and affiliated intelligence agencies, like Pakistan's ISI.

Statistical analysis has now conclusively proven that every time Blair and Bush slump in approval ratings, a fresh terror alert gives them a rebound back up the charts. Every single major terror alert issued by the US, Canadian or UK governments has proven to be either a contrived facade, a setup sting operation or an out-and-out fraud.

But then why not a full blown 9/11 as predicted by many? Why this just-in-time-uncovering of the plots (e.g. Toronto, Florida, the earlier London plot etc) only days/weeks before the supposed attempts, one may ask?

The answer probably lies in the 9/11 truth movement being on the crest of a wave of media exposure. Distinguished scientific minds and brave citizens have now blown open the lid on evidence of government sponsored terror and how they control the society through the power of nightmares. The movement itself, already on the lens of quite a few main stream media big names like C-Span, is about to burst out full time from the sidelines into the middle of the road. Similarly, just like the 9/11, the July 2005 London bombings too have been now proven to be a British intelligence operation and the alleged ringleader, Mohammed Siddique Khan, to be working for MI5. Ask yourself - why is it that so many alleged terrorist 'masterminds' have substantiated links to Western intelligence & military services??

That there are still men and women out there clearly able to see through the charade and call it for what it is, is now the fear of the fear-mongers. It seems that the powers- that-be have learnt a lesson that it is better to ‘discover just in time’ rather than once again to be the agents of unashamed criminality in the annihilation of their own citizens and become a focus of relentless attention of the truth seekers--for now at least.

Who are the scapegoats this time, will be clearer in the days to come. As we await more news to come out, it would be worth our while to refresh our memories about some of the past flag operations carried out by certain Western security agencies through their patsies:

9/11 'mastermind' Mohammed Atta attended the Defense Language Institute at Monterey.

U.S. military sources had given the FBI information that suggests five of the alleged hijackers of the 9/11 planes that were used that terror attack received training at secure U.S. military installations in the 1990s.

Three of the alleged hijackers listed their address on driver licenses and car registrations as the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.—known as the 'Cradle of U.S. Navy Aviation'.

On 29 July 2005, on FOX News Channel's Day Side programme, there was a claim by Former US Justice Dept. prosecutor John Loftus that the 'mastermind' of the 7/7 London Bombings, Haroon Rashid Aswat, worked for MI6.

A Kuwaiti citizen, Omar Al-Faruq, who allegedly was the mastermind in the Bali bomb plot was arrested in Bogor, Indonesia, on June 5, 2002 and handed over to the US authorities. Former Indonesian State Intelligence Coordinating Board (BAKIN) chief A.C. Manulang was quoted as saying that Al-Faruq is a CIA-recruited agent. A Pentagon official in Washington later confirmed that Al-Faruq escaped from a U.S. detention facility in Bagram, Afghanistan, on 10 July 2005. Too convenient by half, I would say.

If this latest hype remains unexposed and the US-UK-Israeli aggressor bloc is able to somehow pin this newest fantasy on Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran, then given the imminent collapse of the Anglo-US imperialistic venture, and the unforeseen drawing out of the current Israeli offensive in Lebanon, this new stunt threatens to take the world into a general war.

As the grateful Bush-Blair combo, the chief beneficiaries of the purported plot, play out their jaded routine in front a servile media, it is time to ring some bells. This large-scale joint psyops of Western governments and media shows that something is not only 'rotten in the state of Denmark'; something far more sinister is afoot.'

Terrorists planned to mix liquids so why are they all being poured into airport bins?

'The latest terror plot facade is nothing more than an exercise to assess how subservient the general population has become and a primer to making permanent the panicked and ridiculous freedom-crushing security measures we are seeing being rushed into implementation at the moment.

Whilst the government is saying there is no going back on these measures and that they will become permanent, the media is bleating about rushing in biometric retina scanners and Orwellian behaviour sensing technology. This is the only way they can do these things without backlash and protest, just have a major terror alert and rush them through.

How is it that people can still deny that our governments are forwarding a big brother control agenda? ID cards, Biometric databases, retina scanners, face scanning cameras, behaviour sensing machines. The list goes on. It has been proven over and over that these measures will not help prevent terrorism, the government itself has even admitted this, so why do they relentlessly push them?

The latest mind-bending terror stupidity has every passenger at airports pouring their potentially explosive liquids into bins inside the airports.

How stupid can things get? How far does it have to go before people start asking simple questions about what they are being made to do in the name of security?

If these liquids are potentially explosive what the hell is the good in pouring them all into large bins inside overcrowded airports and mixing them all together?

The Asheville Citizen Times interviewed a mother who was forced to pour away her baby's milk:

"I have mixed feelings about all this," Leoni said as she waited to board a flight for Miami at Asheville Regional Airport. "On the one side, I’m fine with the safety measures and the effects, but on the other hand, I had to pour out my baby’s milk this morning. They said I couldn't take it on board."

And here she is pouring the potentially deadly milk into a vat of other potentially explosive dangerous liquids.

The official counterterrorism statement told us that the plan involved mixing a sports drink with a gel-like substance to concoct explosives that could be ignited with an MP3 player or cell phone. The sports drink could be combined with a peroxide-based paste to form a potent explosive cocktail, counterterrorism officials said.

If you believe the dodgy science that suggests that these liquids can be ignited by calling up your mother or whacking on a bit of Led Zeppelin on your MP3 player then they better clear the airports pretty smartish because those bins full liquids could go up any second. unless they are just bins full of baby milk and Dr Pepper that is.

The Scientific American states:

Furthermore, some chemicals can be mixed to create a toxic gas capable of killing people in an enclosed space such as an airplane.

Great, marvellous, lets get mixing them in bins then!'

wow intense debate here. Yea.. it's really strange (going back to the racism) i'm a catholic but like because i have tanned skin and my brother do look to have a strong arab ethnic origin, we get a lot of looks when travelling on the underground and stuff even after a year.

I think that the situation with terrorism is not only unfortunate for the people being killed but also for the people who are from the musilm religion, left behind expected to explain the reasons for this crazy outburst from extremists. I'm choosing my words here carefully in order not to offend anyone but it is evident that racism will surely be at its peak within the next few weeks.....

i'm expected to travel to israel on the 19th of august.... lol travelling by plane... to israel. aye cheewowa.. i'm going to have hassle at the airports no doubt!! This should be fun ..

Rather like the two Muslim people wrongfully arrested recently in the UK, I'll be surprised if any terrorism charges arise from these latest arrests - already one of them has been released without charge. If they are innocent, then they'll eventually fade back into newspaper side columns then obscurity. If they are even remotely guilty, they'll be the poster boys both of extremists and of our governments. If they are intelligence services stooges, then they've already done their job and their families will be taken care of financially. And finally, if they start to shoot their mouths off, they'll be disposed of, just like many 9/11 'dissidents', journalists etc.

You see, politicians need these frequent terror alerts - to divert attention away from matters such as the wars in Iraq, Israel/Lebanon;scandals;upcoming elections;desired funding for new military projects;new curbs on the personal freedom of citizens (surveillance etc).

So, although I don't exactly know the truth behind 9/11, the London bombings or this latest 'terror plot', I do know what the politicians of this era are like, so I'm suspicious of their motives. I would much rather it be true that the US & UK face a genuine threat, and that our leaders were solely concerned with our welfare. But seeing as since time immemorial, the wealthy, the ruthless and the self-serving ones have always been in control of the nations, I can't see why these latest talking heads should be any different to those of the past - these people too often have their own agenda, aside from what is good & right for their countries.

As an example, I give you the invasion of Iraq...you might have thought 'Well done, Bush, it's great to see someone making a stand against an awful regime which terrorises it's opponents and oppresses it's citizens'. I would truly be happy if that were the case, if America were truly the 'world police'...but I fear it's not the case;months later, there are still no signs of 'weapons of mass destruction', and Iraq is now far more chaotic than during Saddam's rule. Meanwhile, the US military & intelligence have taken over the Iraqi oil facilities and it's ministry. And more pertinently, if America is the world police of repute, righting wrongs and fighting oppressive regimes, why are they only 'policing' nations whose resources would benefit US policy? Ther are far more criminal regimes than Iraq's...why isn't the War On Terror declared on these countries??

Perhaps the most worrying aspect of this century's terrors is that we could end up in a nation akin to Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany - with everyone monitored, with one political party allowed and/or in charge for year after year, with our fabled 'democracy' tainted until it becomes a byword for 'tyranny'...

I have a Greek friend (GREEK!) and he gets hateful looks and people think he's Middle Eastern and thus, obviously, a terrorist. I think the whole judging by skin colour thing is so inaccurate it's just ridiculous to even take it into consideration. If you can't tell the difference in someone from Greece and someone from Iran then I don't need you to watch my back for terrorists, that's my perspective.

Thing is we cant judge anyone by their colour really - some of these peeps are going to be white, English/British or whatever alledgedly converted to Islam or whatever. So really terrorists can be ANYONE white, black, asian or whatever.

With that lie, both Bush and Blair disclosed themselves for the treasonous, lying criminals that they are. Why? Glad you asked...

You see ... it can't be done. It quite simply cannot be done. Not in any airplane toilet. Not with any resources that might be available aboard any airplane other than Tom Swift's Flying Lab. Not with the time afforded by a Trans-Atlantic flight. And certainly - not by anybody without chemistry lab training and experience - not under the circumstances claimed, anyway'.
