David BowieI got into David Bowie when he was just starting the Ziggy phase, i think hes a very inovative song writer, stuff that he wrote in the 70's could easily stand up today! Also, on the Aladin Sane album, there is one song on there that reminds me of Muse, its called Lady Grinning Soul and its just piano and davids voice, its beautiful! but so are many of his songs, far too many to mention here! anyone else like him?

he scared me when I was a kid in the mid 70's, apparently I was terrified of him!
He is such an influence though, a real innovator.

hoooray, someone like David Bowie, whats your favourite album? i would have to say Aladin Sane, because its got all that manic piano on it!! but i love everything else up until after scary monsters, then i didnt buy his stuff anymore, i always like the earlier stuff better though no matter who the band is

I really like Bowie, I dont know specific albums, but I love the Ziggy Stardust one!!! it's excellent

I loved the ziggy era but I have to say that was (ever so) slightly before my time lol, loved Heroes and scary monsters, and used to dance around my living room to Lets dance (even had some red shoes!)
I will have to give aladdin sane a listen...
oh and I loved the film Labyrinth too (very much so)

i loved man who fell to earth even though i didnt understand it hehe, you got see quite a lot of david bowie too :roll:
i also love hunky dory and space oddity oh and ziggy of course, oh and not to forget pinup eeek i just love them all

Lets Dance!! and Heroes yeh love them! and the Labryinth!! one of my fave films as a child!!! We would recite the words all the time! I soo wanted to be Sarah
