in honour of the fact I'm seeing them for the second time on the 3rd November, here is the Foos thread.

Amazing at the Leeds Festival in 2005, looking forward to seeing them in an arena, which will be a much better environment to see them in.

Ohhh, Dave Grohl. *Worships*. I envy you sooo very much that it hurts. I have wanted to see the Foos for so long! Wouldn't it have been amazing to see Muse, the Foo Fighters and QOTSA all play on the same stage when they did that tour around America... Ahhhhhh!

Muse supported the Foos in their (Muse's) early days, that would have been a delicious thing to see. I must confess I dodn't know about QOTSA though :oops:

I'm not a huge fan of the Foos but I do like a lot of their stuff. I LOOOOOVE Dave Grohl though, he is just amazing

I saw their new video last night and it's pretty cool song

I just cant make my mind up about them, do like the new song though, but some of the others are just

However wouldnt say no to Muse, Foos and QOTSA all playing the same stage

I don't like the hair as long as it is at the moment... just a little shorter for me. New song is great though

I have missed them twice here in iceland

indeed Ali - why is it Ticketmaster can send tickets out straight away and Seetickets just cant even manage to send them within a reasonable time. Rah to Seetickets.

Well ticketmaster have wound me up so much lately with the Interpol ticket so I'm not happy with them at the moment.

And the Foo Fighters new song is SO boring, god! Infact I didn't like In your honour at all

I got the new album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, listened to it 3 times in work, it good not an amazing album. I love the 2nd song "Let it Die", "Come Alive" and the last song "home" very sad

but good

"Statues" is good too

After the few days I've just had I NEED this night out more that people will ever understand.

Better late than never, but here is my review

Its late because I ended up driving which was two hours there, standing for the gig and driving home and my ankle just totally gave out on me on Sunday. Crippled by the Foos.

Anywho, it was my birthday night out and I was taken for tea at McDonalds.

We got in for the first support band, I have no idea who they were

Serj Tankian came on and while he is a bloody good singer, he kept shouting c**t alot. I kept expecting him to burst into Chop Suey!

The Foos - bless them. A two hour show! TWO HOURS! All the hits and the best crowd sing along ever to Breakout!

There was even a stage that dropped down from the ceiling so the Foos played to the crowd at the back!

Pat Smear was on stage! One by One ROCKED! The Best Of You ROCKED!

The whole evening ROCKED!

Oh, and paper airplanes are the new Mexican Wave. Before the Foos cane on one got launched from level 2 seating and went all they way over the standing area to the other side of the arena!

Plus on the way home some knobheads threw fireworks at my car when we were at some trafic lights when we were in Stockport.

Foo Fighters for me are the only band to beat Muse live... I've thought long and hard about it over the last week or so... Dave Grohl is a showman, he loves putting on a good show and interacting with the crowd, getting everybody either fired up or laughing their arses off!

Foo Fighters are top of my list of 'to see again'
