French traditionIn France May 1st is a bank holiday, and we have that lovely tradition of giving lily of the valley (I think that's what it's called) to our loved ones

aww what a lovely tradition, i like that smell too! i think its a real gesture of peace, flowers to me are a symbol of love and hope! jeez, im rather gay tonight i think!

thank you Manu! I love Lily of the Valley, my mum has it in her garden.
we have to wait till next monday for our bank holiday, but sadly no traditions apaprt from enjoying a day off work!

May 8th is a bank holiday too in France, and there's another one later on in the month.. May is a great month lol
too bad I don't get any of those, but that's ok
