my daughter inherited my Dookie album.
Green Day are on our 'to see' list, wish we'd gone to Milton Keynes Bowl a couple of summers ago. The young 'un watches Bullet alot.

Loved their last album, but I haven't listened to it in forever, due to overdose on it! By myself and the tv constantly showing the bloody videos all the time!!
What do you guys think of their collaboration with U2 for the New Orleans Hurricane victims? I have only ever heard it a couple of times..

It's not brilliant, the video is great though, it shows how hurrican katriona should have been, Bush calling the troops and jets back home, food being airdropped to them, people being rescued, pretty good. The song...not so amazing

Dan, my bf lived in MK so went to the Bowl.... twice. Had tickets the first night and then sneaked in with wellies the second night. Lucky bugger!! I didn't know him then, he was with his psycho ex... I'm sure you'll all hear about her soon enough. He did say that if he's known me at the time then he would have taken me instead.... fat lot of good that does me now haha.

I think that I've been addicted to Green Day for about 9years now! I feel like a veteran haha, although never seen them live. Never had the chance unfortunately. Don't admit that American Idiot was your first GD album to a hardcore GD fan :lol: :lol: :lol:

well.... it makes sense that it was my first album cuz i only git into them when it came out... BoBD was the first song i heard, and im ever gratefull to my mate for randomly sending it me via bluetooth

I have 2 favourites, both on the Dookie album. Basket Case and When I Come Around. "She" comes in a very close second.
I have the BIAB album and it makes me think I was at the Bowl haha
