I'm afraid the google ads are part of the forum, it costs to go advert free. Sometimes they're funny as they link to something in the last post, the best one I remeber so far was someone put the word 'hamster' in a post and it brought up adverts for pest control :smt042 :smt042 If you want a little title instead of the star ranking thingy in your avatar << let me know

Hi **waves** I am just getting my bearings here. Am a member of various other forums but this is the friendliest one that I have found. Of course you need rules but you don't want to feel that you're sat there with a chain around your neck. As for the ads, I don't mind them.
