High School/College Applicants peeps...guys i took my HSPT [high school placement test]] today...i hope i got to my high schooll....i wanna go to notre dame. [coughs* in america]

I'm currently what is referred to in the UK as a 'mature student' 
I'm going to be doing a course which will lead to me doing a 'Bachelor of Education with Qualified Teacher Status' degree.
I think I will post here a lot!

i applied for a BTEC in animal management course but i might not get in  so i'm really worried now i really want to do it theres nothing i've been more sure of with my future (apart from steevy of course  )
i got an interview on the 20th so lets see how it goes

good luck jen. oh i got into one of the high schools i applied to, sooooo easy. yay! i got my results through early admissions. i found out if i get into my first choice school in march, and tomarrows my interview there.[feb 2] wish me good luck!!!

I've just got responses from the universities I applied to - got into Leeds, Glasgow and Lancaster, and Lancaster have offered me a scholarship! Yay! Don't know where I want to go though. How's your stuff Ali?

I just found out that the local college aren't doing the course I need to do next. I'm going to have to drive 25 odd miles there and back to the nearest college.
I have to cut my hours at work from 16.5 to 12.5 too to fit this new course in and with the extra petrol I'll be paying for  . Shelf stacking in Tescos for me
Still, Foundation Degree here I come. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant
standard is getting near for me!
I'll nearly triple my salary when I'm qualified!

ugh i went to the acaddemic decathlonj yesterday...we placed third in math and 10th in fine arts....i was an anchor[so i do logic and the super quiz] but other than that i would say [for the super quiz] if we knew the history part we ould have placed. but i still love my team..i was teram captain lol.....got to hold up the signs/answers. but we had fun..

I've applied for 6th form at my school to do psychology, law, sociology and english lit...
I'm pretty sure i'll get into 6th form...it isnt really that hard...its just whether i get the grades i need to do the courses i want *crosses fingers*

just the basics, no honours classes or anything..you know, biology, phys ed, english..my parents say i ahve to take spainish 1 befor ei get to take japenese[i want that one sooo badly] cause im half mexican/columbian and stuff.fro an elective im taking drumline!!!woot!i need to find my schedule..then i will tell all  until then im another clueless person

I can't do the course I want to do at college (for various reasons) but there is another relevant course (but at a lower qualification level than I'd ideally wanted) and I'm spending the morning at college trying to get things sorted. It will be worth doing the course though.

drumline'percussion is the school band, so i worl on marimbas, drumming, marching parades, stuff like that. its cool.
its okay ali, i didnt get to choose any of my classes other than band.
