labelling society!I hate the way that society gives labels or tars everyone with the same brush!!
lets start with social classification. ie. 'chavs', 'goths', 'emos', 'skaters' etc etc...it's just an easy way to control the masses!!the unfortunate thing is that people who consider themselves to be within a group, now live up to the sterotype reputation that initially applied to 3 people!!!the heirarchys of society study youth and adult behaviour, and create stereotypes for made up groups.they then re-study society and say, "right, you fit here, you fit there....." and consequently its for no ones benefit other than there's to make money.if they have groups of people it's easier to market new products with ceratin groups in mind!social branding just p***es me off.also...because of this we now have a new wave of 'group'...'the individuals', these are the ones that 'disagree' with the system and go out of their way to not fit into anything.....which therfore the heirarchys find a group for them anyway....it's never going to stop!!just be who you are, and if people want to put you into groups tell em to get f**ed!!lol.

It always occurs to me that the ones who complain about things like this are the ones who get themselves into a group (mainly goth or emo) in the first place because they like the look of it, then complain the individuality is gone. WTF. Stop being a hypocrit, get off your @$$ sunshine and do something original then.

hmm refrain from becoming offensive to someone's opinion. If you feel you have a view on that matter than convey it in an orderly an controlled manner. It isn't acceptable to attack members in a 'mean' way hehe.. i used the word mean.
Come on people lets all be friends...

i think the whole stereotyping people has gotten way out of hand
for example
i am neither of these things goth/emo (even though there is no such thing as emo like WTF is it ...i thought it was a random thing someone pulled out their ass and then decided to lable a style of music as emo) but yeah now apparently you cant wear black without being called emo :?
and what makes it worse is no one gets away with it.
like the otherday
me and my sis were out at night
and we so happened to be wearing black (because thats the only proper muse shirt i have)
and then some randoms come up to us yelling in our faces calling us emo and wanting to bash us up WTF so
its like...ohhhh nobody wear black at all or your emo
and i hate the fact that some dickhead has created such a lable because
now for those people who really do have self harming problems will get teased and be too afraid to get help
and its now also created a situation where no body can wear black which is a shame coz its a pretty cool colour i mean...if you drop mess on it ...you can get away with it for a while without anyone noticing eh!!!
i think everyone needs to just get over it and move on
who really gives a fuck what people wear
i say that it would be a whole lot easier if everyone had no shame and we were all just naked...then what could they pick at eh....fucking nothing!!!!!!!!!

I get hell at school because in yr 7 i listened muse but wore nike hoody's and what not. As i grew up a bit i started to hang on with different people and got more into the rock sort of influence. My friends began wearing black .. so i did. It wasn't like i wore because they did.. it was more of a thing where i felt more comfortable doing it now that everyone else was. And that's a bad society to adapt to. People are too afraid to wear what they want, talk about what interests them, listen to what inspires them and aspire to what they desire because they are too damn scared it will displease the people they 'used' to hang out with or even those they 'hang' out with now.
The girls i hang around with are so mixed its mad! If we want to use the common terms, i have chavs, emos, skaters and goths hanging out with me at the same time. But they don't like being referred to with such names. It's society that has labelled them and hence restricted them from being who they want to be. If you wear black on monday, then hippy clothes on tuesday and a nike hoody on wednesday you're not classed as 'normal' because you don't have a group as such. Normal these days is being a sheep. Led by a dog (bitch lol) into a fenced enclosure where you can no longer escape the stereotypical minds of todays generation.
To me, i think it's sad. I dress how i want. I listen to all types of music. And to be perfectly honest, i call myself completely normal (except for the odd mad moments.. ok i'm always rather odd :-P) or at least more normal than the sheep of today...
