Live Earth - Our PledgeMuse aren't doing Live Earth as they quite rightly questioned some of the credentials to the whole thing, the environmental impact of such a massive gig etc.
While our boys might not be performing, I think we should all join in with the spirit of Live Earth and pledge to do something for the environment.
My pledge is to change my washing up liquid, detergent and fabric conditioner to an environmentally friendly brand (Tesco's do a really good range called 'Naturally Effective')
I already recycle, compost, wash at 30 degrees and have energy efficient light bulbs, this is one of the last things I can do to try and make the teensiest difference.
Who's joining me?

yeah, count me in, ill get energy efficient bulbs for the whole of the house, up to now i only have two, its something that i mean to get, but never seem to get around to it!! i also recycle and wash a setting lower, and turn the heating down a degree in winter and take all tvs and electrical stuff off standby on a night time! i dont like the washing up liquid though so im not gonna do that hehe!
Good to see that Muse have the courage of their convictions, its good to see someone follow through

ooh good idea
We recycle what we can, use environmentally friendly detergent.
Use cloth bags for shopping, I have a million of them now lol
We dont have a car and use public transport when we need to go somewhere far, or share taxis.
Here is a list of things we can all do to help the environment, I found on stopglobalwarming.org

I don't use energy efficient light bulbs but I do recycle. It's actually a requirement here in Wales. We have the recycle box and everything. We also have these nifty little green boxes to put waste food in. You need to either wrap your food in newspaper or buy recycable bags from ASDA.
On another note, we've turned to 30 degrees too so we are doing our bit

Stephen bought me a little pressie today, a book called it's easy to be green so I am sure I shall be coming in here with little hints for you all! lol
My kitchen is currently filled to capacity with cans, glass bottles and plastic bottles, newspapers, cartons and boxes, as I am too lazy to go to the recycle place!
