Manic Street PreachersMy fav band (they just pip Muse to the top spot - but only just)
Have seen then live a few times. When you think you have seen the best gig they can play the next time they are better
The Holy Bible is my fav album - just love all the songs on there, and James............ah.................. :smt055

I love the Manics. Only seen them once though, on their Greatest hits tour in Helsinki, so it was good to hear some of the old songs live too!! And it was a fairly small place for Manics to perform these days, so it was nice. Just got James' solo album yesterday so have no proper opinion on it. Holy Bible and Gold Against the Soul are my favourite Manics albums.

Ah I love Archives of Pain - at their last gig at Derby James played the beginning riff on his guitar - absolutely amazing (and with some practive I can actually play a tiny bit of it too).
This is Yesterday is one of my favs and he played it acoustically at his solo gig on Wednesday.....
Couple of pics from Wed.

Saw them at Rock City last night - fab as always. Am ever so slightly still deaf this morning
James forgot his words a couple of times - was v funny!
Didnt go for the barrier as it looked a bit squishy, found a nice podium to stand on to the left of the stage, fab view until some biatch came and stood on it too. But my friend asked her to move a bit and she did so I could see again!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh     cant wait for the next one now.
