Muse's Plans 'Given the V'http://www.dailystar.co.uk/playlist/...en-V-over-UFO/MUSE have had their hopes of a spectacular spaceship stunt at this weekend’s V Festival dashed by officials. Frontman Matt Bellamy, 29, said: “We’re trying to get a UFO to come in. Health and Safety as usual are ruining it all. I’m not sure V are quite prepared for us. “We’ve redesigned the whole stage and we’re bringing in loads of props that won’t be on stage but around the venue. Their initial reaction was: ‘No, this is a festival, that’s not gonna work.’ But we’re gonna make it happen.” He added: “We’ve written a lot of new songs but we’ve bottled out of playing them live because, from past experience, we’ve ended up hating some of our favourites by the time we recorded them.” Meanwhile, Matt hinted that the trio might invite Mike Skinner, 29, of The Streets on stage to perform their joint new tune Who Knows Who.
