Paige!

We have a shared (maybe slightly too much) obsessive desire for members of muse...though they are seperate members....

We also have a shared obsession for the band as a whole...if muse are ever kidnapped, you know where to look...

Thread love for paige

Oh my god paige! I just heard about the earthquake in LA...it was on the news...are you ok?
mr_x

:o Earthquake!

Hello Paige
hystericali

yes, I hope you missed the earthquake
Museclues

oh i was in it ...it was sooo much fun

it took like 400000 minutes for us to rlize it was an earthquake..first it was,"do you feel that" to"GET UNDER THE DESKS!PROTECT YOUR HEAD, NOT YOUR BUTT!"

it was funny because someone said they pee'd their pants and stuff.it was soooo funny!at first it was steady, then there was a boom! me being clumsy as i am, i hit my head on the desk beofre i went under.

i was in the computer lab at my high school wehn it hit. the moniters are under the desk with clear glass, and so there wasnt much room!

we were in a newer building..so it had earthquake technology..so at first we shook a little, then, after the boom, we were rolling back and forth..

my parents said my dog slept though it!
StarlightInTheGloom

Glad you're ok paige

Whats it like being in an earthquake? I've never been in one...or i have, but i've slept through them
Forwen

Hello to you too Paige,

Glad to hear that you're ok after the quake. I'm the same as Hannah, I haven't felt one. I know of 2 that we've had, but I slept through them. The last one we had about 6 months ago I did have a dizzy spell. I was in bed about to go to sleep when I came over all funny and was scared to lift my head off the pillow incase I passed out (that's never happened to me before), then I fell asleep straight after. The next day I heard about the small earthquake we had had and that my funny turn happened around the same time. I must have fallen asleep just before the shock waves hit so I didn't feel anything. Very strange!
Obviously I wouldn't like to be in a big quake, but I would like to at least feel one sometime. I hoped it might have happened last year when we were in California for a week, but no nothing.
I was at the San Francisco & LA (the Forum) gigs April last year. Did you go to the Forum show?
Museclues

hannah:uhm, it just kinda rumbles, like..hmm..how to put it:well if your in one of those newer built-buildings with that earthquake tech, then u"ll feel like ur on a ship. it rocks, and we have a few house cracks..

it was a fun 5.4 i wanna do that again!

forwen:sadly ive never been to a muse gig, low on the moo-lahs. ive actually only seen the killers live, at the staples center.   i almost bought a ticket for the frum show, but we decided t use the munnies to pay for jr. lifeguards for me and the sis.
oh, and earthquakes are fun!!ive never slept through one, unless, of course waht, a 2.0?

we had a 4.5 a few years back and i was playing twister!
Forwen

We went to see the Killers in San Francisco 2 nights before Muse last year, they didn't do anything for me unfortunately. I'm pleased I've seen them, but wouldn't again.
It's a shame you didn't get the the forum, it was a good show. The crowd were a bit rough in SF, I was in the pit and it was scary! But the crowd in LA were great.

Twister in an earthquake ay? I bet that made you fall.
Kuutar

Hi

Earthquake? You live in California?

Playing twister in earthquake, lol.  Did you collapse or did you manage to keep on playing :p.
StarlightInTheGloom

did you fall over? i'm pretty sure i would...i have crap balance at the best of times...

I dont reckon i'd sleep through a big earthquake, although i am quite a deep sleeper...i'd like to experience an earthquake...i think it'd be quite fun

I'd also like to experience a tornado...not be in one, obviously, cause then i'd probably die...well not probably, i would die....but i'd like to see one...
Museclues

forwen:i almost went to the verizon wireless amphitheater show..i missed it though...i mixed up the dates.. so the killers werent the best?hmmm..they were amazing for me...[probably because its the only band ive seen live

well all i know about muse live is that every seat is like the mosh pit!
^_^

anne:yep, los angeles to be exact, almost smack dab in the middle  of it.

hannah:dont experiance a tornado, whatever you do. theyre loud, scary, like earthquakes if your under one, and scary scary scary! <-- like that

try not to play too much twister!i was about 7 i think?my sis about 4....my dad ust swooshed us up and we flew out the door, it was only 30 seconds..i fell over and tripped us all in time wasting 12 seconds

but we were on our front lawn by the time it was over
StarlightInTheGloom

I agree paige, every seat at a muse gig is like a mosh pit

How many earthquakes have you been in?
Museclues

err, uhm three i think..and a bunch of little 2.0 that i didnt ntice or ive slept through.

one was around midnightish, snd i woke up and suddenly i was in my parents room. the other was wen i played twistr, and the one we had last week.

Oh I'd love to see a tornado. I'd love to do one of those storm chaser holidays, but I know I'd be terrified. I also love thunderstorms, eventhough I have a phobia of thunder.  They just fascinate me.

Museclues wrote:

No....not at all.  Some places I've been to the crowd have been a bit rough, but I have been to some very calm shows. :-)
StarlightInTheGloom

Aww! I'd love to do a stormchaser holiday! I'm probably gonna take a gap year and do one of those, that would be soooo fun

When i went to see muse in birmingham, every single person (including me   ) went absolutely nuts when they came on stage
Museclues

i think i recall dom saying the best audience/crowd they had here in the U.S. was in the state of Utah..

i was suprised he didnt say the Wiltern Theatre, where they played fury, but then again no one was jumping..
