I really like The Downward Spiral we like to have it on while..eh...you know! lol
With Teeth is good but in my opinion, not as good as TDS.
Hurt is such an amazing song and Johnny Cashs version is just amazing!!! They invoke different feelings in me and I feel can both exist at the same time
There is one song on With teeth and when you have head phones on, Trent is singing and it's like he comes up behind you and is talking right in your ear! spooky!
Also on a song on TDS, its like he moves from one side to the other gives me the chills

You mean 'Closer' Its on a cd called 'The Downward Spiral' and its early 90's
Its a weird video, and I've been into them since 1990 so I think I'm about due to see them.
I turned up for work and saw a piece of paper that had my name on it and I was like 'oh, more work  ' but my buddy was playing a trick on me and it was this little note telling me about the tickets. She's a sweetie!

okies, there are already plans to get the Manchester Apollo for 3 in the afternoon, Nete wants to be on the barrier and catch some of Trent's sweat.
She's been prowling the office like a woman on heat this morning!

last night, where to start.........
I got really pissed off about 3.30 when my car started making a noise like water going down a plug (any mechanics, wtf was going off?) so I had to make a frantic phone call to Nete and we ended up setting of an hour later than planned to Manchester, and its about an hour and a half's drive. We got there for 6.15 and ended up standing at the pub round the corner from the Apollo so we were gutted about not being able to get on the barrier. We thought well atleast we're here and we're going to see them.
However, when we got inside the majority of the crowd headed to the bar and we got a spot on the barrier, but to the extreme right, I thought it would have been busier on the barrier, but i got to wander up to the bar at the back and back down with our halves of cider (£6.00 ) and it was no busier than when I set off!
Ladytron have the honour of being a worse support band than the Noisettes, and I thought that they would take some beating . They had the potential, they struck me as being a gothic, girl fronted version of Depeche Mode, but they put little effort into the performance and to say it was the first night of the tour, they looked BORED. Everyone round us was heckling them, its a shame as this support slot would mean so much to them career wise, but they just didn't make an effort. Maybe its part of their stage act, but they did themselves no favours to a LOT of the crowd.
NIN came on and we went potty. We didn't stop moving for the duration of the set. It was a greatest hits show, we got to hear everything we wanted! I was really suprised when they did 'Closer' 4 or 5 songs in.
They did 'Hurt' and 'March of The Pigs' and they finished with 'The Hand That Feeds' and 'Head Like A Hole'. Everything else just kinda morphed into one blur which always happens the more desperate I am to see a band!
Trent is one charismatic, magnetic frontman. Talk about having the audience in the palm of his hand. The guitarist (Aaron) was high on life or something and fell off the stage, he was a loose cannon all night, whirling around and throwing his microphone stand about, but he has 'it', what ever 'it' may be!
All in all a fooking amazing gig, and if I'm honest, a gnats wotsits behind
Muse for putting on a live show. Muse still have that honour, but NIN aren't that far behind.
