I like them, and have a couple of the cd's but I quess I need to listen to them some more.
I've seen clips on the TV of their gigs and they look impressive live.

I downloaded Burn the Witch live EP - its darn good, Josh is very amusing with some comments to a knob head, or cock smoker as he calls him - makes me smile

yeah they do seem to be really good live, ive never seen them, but ive seen their live performances on tv, Josh does some great acoustic stuff! i always think that shows you just how good a band/singer really is, if they can knock your socks off stripped down and unplugged

QOTSA are just awesome... Live they are even better!
I saw them at a re-scheduled Newcastle date - my dad got my original ticket because I couldn't make it due to going to Birmingham, then it was cancelled and my dad couldn't make it because he was away with work. So I got lucky for this.
To make up for cancelling the original gig they cancelled their support act and did a 2 1/2-3 hour set... it was absolutely amazing!
As it was the last gig Josh found out just before that their keyboardist had never been shit faced drunk... So Josh had a plan to get him rat arsed as the gig went on, he was getting more and more drunk (but still playing brilliantly!) as shots came onto the stage after every other song. It was quite funny!
Josh Homme is an excellent showman too.
