Radiohead vs Muse fansDon't you find it rather strange how you can have an extreme muse obsesser still liking radiohead's stuff but i have NEVER seen an ultimate radiohead fan even listening to muse.. they like hate musers and muse's music...
I think it's the attitudes brought out in the fans through the music and stuff. Muse fans are normally less... conservative? lol mind you .. you get ALOT of self righteous Muse fans.. no one on this forum though

Haha that's so true! Radiohead fans tend to be older and are very stuck up when it comes to other bands that challenge, or even surpass Radiohead's greatness.

Muse fans, genaraly, are the opposite.

I think Radiohead fans who have been into them since muse arrived hate them because of the whole "showbiz... radiohead copycats thing" which is complete utter bull...

I'm sure the percentage of Muse fans with mortgages and Radiohead fans with mortgages will be pretty much the same, as will the percentage of fans of each band that are students, parents, unemployed, professional, self employed, part time workers, full time workers, OAP's, working class, middle class, upper class, northerners, southerners, people with belly buttons that are 'innies' and those who have 'outie' belly buttons and any other social, economic or religious catagory and sub catagory I have left out.

My parents are big Radiohead fans, have been since their really early stuff, and they also love Muse too. 
Just to contradict things a little.

I listen to both Radiohead and Muse, but, i obviosuly prefer muse... 
My best mate is a huge Radiohead fan aswell, but she loves muse, so i dont think its technically true that all big radiohead fans hate muse's music, i think its really just the minority, but they publicise it quite a bit...

I was a fan of Radiohead first before I discovered Muse. I still love Radiohead but Muse took over the number one spot as my favourite group.
