I'm not a fan of Snow Patrol, but I listened to their new album as we had "gotten" it for a friend so it was the comp. I fell in love with their song called Open Your Eyes!! Wow that is one powerful song, gave me goosebumples!

Only me recommending Black Metal/Punk hybrids then?
Impaled Nazarene: “We Are Satan’s Generation”. It has the most hilarious lyrics too!

Unfortunately I can only find crappy–sounding live renditions, but nothing compares to the Punk sound you get on that track (from their Rapture album). Blasphemous and childish, but oh–so–cool sounding and hilarious lyrics (e.g. a chorus featuring the line: “Go get FUCKED if you are not one of the bestial ones”).

Excellent taste, beautiful piece, and to this day Rachmaninov remains one of my most favourite composers .

Hmmm I don't know what to reccommend as everyone has different tastes. At the moment I love the song Disintegration by Jimmy Eat World. Theres something about it, it just has gorgeous simplistic tones to it.

Yay!! I am learning to play it at the moment actually, the middle section is damn hard. He had a 13 note span and I am 11 at a stretch so it is quite an exercise for my little fingers. So so pretty though.

Any song from the "Once" soundtrack so beautiful
Esp the songs from the girl, "If you want me" and "The Hill" they are pretty sad but amazing ooooh and the last song!! "say it to me now" in the film, its so moving.. shot at night on Grafton St. in Dublin where he does his busking.. the acoustics of the empty street and the power in his emotions... JUST GO AND WATCH THE FILM!! haha

When I was told they were supporting MCR I looked them up, I thought their newer one "shut up" I think it was called was better than the straight to video.. The video was funny

Say it to Me Now

If You Want Me ... You may notice that the guitar they use is the same and it has a huge hole in the side! lol at a guess it's his lucky guitar as it's in the film too lol

I don't know if anyone will like it, but I got the new Nightwish album, Dark Passion Play. They have a new singer and while I was a bit weary at first, her voice is just as strong and can go with their kind of music perfect. A different voice to the ex singer Tarja but better in a new way.
It's a great album, the music is amazing!! Which is great as I got a double album that has just the instrumentals! Anyway...
I recommend the song 'Islanders', it's really beautiful and has a nice Celtic feel to it with the bagpipes

I loved the old ones voice, but this new singer Annette I think, suits the band a lot more than her.
It's such a great album
(carroll pm me if you would like to hear it) some vids are on youtube, Amanarath and Bye Bye Beautiful, which I presume is about the old singer

the new Sigur Rós song Gobbledigook, it is excellent! Their video has been banned from youtube as it contains nudity, lots of it. I love the video, it's so innocent and playful, the fact they are naked is nothing crazy.
There are much worse and violent videos out there and videos that make women into purely sexual items.
Yes so listen to this song if you can I think its actually available to download for free off their website!
