Smashing Pumpkinsblooming heck! No Pumpkins thread? Surely someone here must like them? Gradually getting hold of all their album tracks, absoloutely adore this band definately one of my favourites. I am hoping they will announce a UK tour soon!

They are my joint fave band, but I never thought to write a thread as I didn't think anyone liked them. Plus I am lazy! lol
I only think Siamese Dream and Melancholy are worthy albums though. I have yet to get the new one, as I am afraid, plus I hate bands reforming. Especially seeing as how can it be Smashing Pumpkins when it's only Billy and the drummer :roll: I will get it soon though.
That doesn't mean I would say no if they toured here lol

Zeitgeist is a bit dissapointing  I don't know why comeback bands always create a politcal album Yeah Melon Collie and Adore are my favourites <3

my boyf hated Adore, so I never really got around to listening to it much back home, don't think I have it here.
I thought the music of the tarantula song was good, but didn't really pay attention to the lyrics. After Zwan and Billy's solo stuff I have lost faith in his abilities...their time has come and gone I think.

Some of Billy's solo stuff is quite impressive thats if he independantly created those synths/electronics because I really like those songs he did

I have to say after "their" new album, I am not too sorry to miss them perform.. as they are not the Pumpkins.. Saying that I would still love to hear Billy sing me Disarm live *swoons*
