Take a Bow as Opener v Closer

I've seen it both ways, as the opening song and as the closing song and I have to say that personally I believe it to be an extremely powerful opening track but quite weak as a closing track. What do the lot of you think?

I wouldn't say it is weak Wes but Take A Bow is absolutely the ideal one for the Opening one, I mean about the explosion of sound, of lights at the same time, I saw it twice and really adored it. As a closing, I would be certainly very disappointed not to get other ones afterwards!!!

Anyhow, any closing Muse song are a pure sword in the heart!!

They opened with Knights at Leeds and closed with Take A Bow, personally I would have preferred it the other way round, as Knights is a more epic song and a better finishing song. I'd rather have had Stockholm Syndrome as a closer over Take a Bow.

This, however, is only my opinion and if Matt Bellamy should every lurk on our forum then

I haven't witnessed it as an opener but it was the closing song at Eden. It was good (nearly burst my eardrums in the build up) but I think that Knights (which they opened with) would have been a better last song.

At the Manchester gig they opened with Knights and closed with Take a Bow

Matt sang "Take a Bow" and he took a bow

I thought it was excellent. Plus coming onto Knights just set the scene for the whole gig

So i definately prefer closer.

Well Take a bow definately made an opener it was amazing, I agree when Matt took a bow, wow it was just amazing... KOC on the other hand I have no idea when I saw it, it was right in the middle of the set

Hmm,TAB was opener in HK gig,thought it was KoC like previous gigs in Asia but it changed since gig in our place,that's great cuz i think KoC could do a better closer job.

After seeing it open Wembley I definitely have to vote for opener.

Well, In antwerpen, we've got Take a bow at first and KOC in the end. I think that TAB is powerfull in the beginning !! All that stress, the music who is in crescendo ... And KOC ... what a beautifull ending for a concert :lol:

I like KoC as an opener. Although I'm not too fond of TaB as a closer either, if I had my way, I'd like them to play TaB as the last song before the "encore", then close with Stockholm Syndrome (imo its the best closer).

Never been to any Muse gigs before but being able to watch/listen to bootlegs of past gigs I'd say I prefer TAB being an opener, the lyrics itself is so powerful.

And KOC as a last song before an encore and SS as a closer.
