Meanwhile over in iceland! We are having a drought in the South of the country!! Hasn't rained here in weeks and the farmers havent started cutting their hay can't remember why? but they haven't its almost 17 every day here which is really warm for Iceland lol but its bad, because we ahve very few trees, so if there is no rain before the next wind storm(which we get a lot) then there will be a lot of soil erosion on the south

i quite like the rain, but its a little depressing
i dont want a summer like last year, it was way too hot!
im a redhead and it meant that i couldnt go out becuase i would burn in like 10 minutes, so my summer sucked

Well lots of snow and huge winds, so the snow is just blowing like crazy and the snow that is already there is being whipped around, sooooo cool, the perfect weather

God you must be freezing
here we don't really get winter (or summer, pfff), it's like "that time of the year when it's a bit colder" or "that time of the year when it's a bit warmer".
This week we went down to 1-3 ° C, that was like a record. Everybody was complaining lol.
We never get snow any more...
but we do get a lot of wind, and a lot of rain. Damn weather.

We had a huge snowstorm yesterday and had to walk through almost knee high snow to get to work! Today though, we have rain and storms! 84kph winds ice cold rain, melting snow, we were soaked coming home, the whole backside of me was sopping through to my underwear, my rain jacket is officially not a rain jacket any more!
I just hope something doesn't come flying through my window eeek

not to gloat or anything, but we've had spring weather here today. aroud 16-17° in the afternoon.. how cool is that. and apparently the week-end will be the same.

here where i am its just miserable and wet not particularly cold, just very damp, and apparently ive heard that s pretty much what our summer is gonna be like, 3 days of nice sunshine, then rain again, oh the joy of living in England eh??

well Carroll, if it's any comfort (probably not) it appears it's gonna be the same here; but hey they say that weather in Brittany is much the same as in Britain... (it's not called "small Britain" for nothing).
We've had lately rainy days, sunny but very cold days, and days when you have no idea what to wear: hot-ish in the afternoon, but icy in the morning and the evening. With showers in between of course. Damn!

I was in work today, but it looked gorgeous out. When we were walking home the digital thermometers said 15șc. Which is pretty warm for here, it would have been nicer but the wind was blowing, we have the Northern Mistral here at the moment
Do they have those thermometers around the UK? We have them at most junctions, digital boxes, with the time, date and temp! Very cool

It has been really warm here the last few days, but you cloudy and sometimes rainy, so very humid and sticky.
It's Fisherman and Harbour weekend, so there are lots of things on this weekend, so it's good there is good weather
