I really enjoy the knitting, so my sewing has taken a back seat atm. Waiting for my mam to post me over some material that my aunt left me. I find the knitting very de-stressing, much like rubbing a cat lol

Wow, I wish I could do that kind of thing. I really smell at sewing and knitting! Although I did try knitting wire once and really hurt my hands. Do not try this at home.

I've been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of Karen's handiwork, she made my daughter a Green Day bracelet and I got a red and black wooden box (filled with chocolate) for my birthday.

They are very nice!

Ali, your box is the only item I don't have a photo of, but I think I may have taken some with my "real camera" which I am getting roles developed from on Thurdsay, so I may have some then lol

I am atm, making another journal for a friends bday on fri, so it's all go, coz of course i leave it till the last minute! I started it at xmas, then got sidetracked haha

if you really do wanna give it a try their are great resources online with video and photo lessons

about.com in the hobbies and craft section is one I always use for advice on stitches

scarves like mine are so easy.
