I thought it would be a great idea, as we all live in different places, to put up web cams of our hometowns!
That is if there are any, or even of the city you are from.
Here is a link to a webcam for Reykjavík. It shows Laugavegur the main street and then out to the harbour area
http://eyjan.is/webcam
Then this one of Dublin city in ireland, which is of course my birth city and where I lived for 22 years!

So, get looking for your own

Very cool both of you, I love the panoramic views. The Tamworth castle view was great _________________

Aww Primark! I love primark!
They were gonna replace a DIY shop with a primark in tamworth...but they changed their minds and are turning it into a frigging homebase! We already have one homebase! Why does a town need two flipping homebases?!?! Its stupid! As you can see I'm quite pissed off about the whole thing...i would have much rather had a primark...at least thats something usefull!
Ok, rant over...sorry people _________________ 'Registered Pieaholic'

Well it is almost 24 hours of daylight here at the moment, after the summer solstice it will get darker again. I love it, it is awesome to walk around town when everyone is stumbling out of pubs and it is like the afternoon, very surreal! _________________

24 hours of daylight?! Thats amazing!
But how do you sleep, doesn't the light put you off?
I'd like to see that, it would be quite amusing, people stumbling out of pubs mid-afternoon _________________ 'Registered Pieaholic'

Well it is pretty close to that here too Paige. We get from Oct to March as darkness in Dec we only get 3 hours of light! Now it is pretty much 24 hour of daylight!
Well you need pretty heavy curtains on your windows, we don't have any, so we hang a blanket. It is confusing when you are sitting on the computer or something, you forget you are tired sometimes! _________________
