It was a very dark film, much darker than Batman Begins, so much violence and especially with the Joker, he just killed people whenever!
Harvey "two-face" was great too, his face was so gross.

I loved it.

It's not Heath Ledger's last role though, his last "completed" role yes, but his last role is in the Terry Gilliam film which has been postponed for a while. Apparently as the film is a fantastical magical film, the role can be played by other people, Johnny Depp and some other guy I can't remember, so Heaths parts that were filmed will still be used

I thought Harvey "Two-face" was awesome as well! Although quite gross...I loved the plot of tunring the nicest guy in gotham into a complete psychopath out for revenge...pure genius

And wait...Karen! Are you telling me there is another film coming out with heath in it! You've just made me soooo stupendously happy!

Completely off subject ish - the next village along from where I live is Gotham! but pronounced goatham.  I also live on Bateman Road, also confused by many peeps to be Batman road!

Anyway just thought I would share that rubbish with you all =D

that's how I remember your street as its also the name of a pub near me.

I have to do word association as I'd forget stuff, Ilike car number plates - I have a phrase to remember mine, and I remember my OH's car as it reminds me of VHS videos

I saw it yesterday... after watching Die Hard 4.0 the night before, The Dark Knight was a bit of a let down if i'm honest! I didn't really enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Die Hard 4.0.

And it's too long...

Wow! You should go to your street sign in the middle of the night and scribble out the E!

I saw it tonight and I enjoyed the Joker and Harvey appearances very much but apart from that I thought it was as dull as a dishcloth and I find Christian Bale a very irritating actor. I felt the same way about American Psycho so it wasn't just this film.

Heath Ledger is nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar! yay

He is up against:
Robert Downey Jr in Tropic THunder
Michael Shannon in Revolutionary Road
Josh Brolin in Milk
Philip Seymore Hoffman in Doubt

Ok 3 of those are amazing actors. I have only see Downey's performance other than Heath's and I cannot believe he is up for it!

Philip is such an actor, so I really don't know... I would love to see Heath win it, just so his little daughter Matilda would have his oscar alongside his golden globe award, but I would hate to think they just gave pity votes... But saying that I do think he deserves it, he was brilliant as the Joker.
