MATT'S DAD^

GEORGE BELLAMY: "Hello, who's speaking please?"

CYDONIA: "Hello Mr Bellamy, would you mind if we spoke to you about your son's band? We work for a Muse fansite, Cydonia..."

GEORGE: "Sure, that's fine. Fire away"

CYDONIA: "Wow, thanks very much! What was Matt like as a child?"

GEORGE: "Matt was always advanced, musically. He played piano by 4 years, and other things too - harpsichord, violin, kazoo... He was always dressing up in his mum's clothes - skirts, tights, high-heels....you name it, he wore it. We all thought he was nuts, but after he became rich, we realised that it was his artistic temperament"

CYDONIA: "Oh...well, you were a popstar yourself, weren't you? When did you feel that you & The Tornados had actually made it to the top?"

GEORGE: "When Telstar hit number one in the UK & US...the Queen invited us to Buckingham Palace for a tea party. Princess Anne was smoking a fag in the corner when she walked over to me and said 'Wanna go in the toilet, George?'. I was stunned...just think, I could have been royalty! Shame the wife was with me."

CYDONIA: "Er...last question. How do you feel about Matt's engagement to Gaia?"

GEORGE: "She's a cracking bit of stuff. I wouldn't mind a go, mate...I wish them both the best of luck - can't wait for some Plug In Babies, ha ha! Get it? Plu..."

CYDONIA: "Sorry, running out of credit...bye!"
