I'm a big fan of the classics - most of the works by Plato, Aristophanes, Euripedes, Homer, Vergil, etc.

Emily Bronte ‘Wuthering Heights’
DH Lawrence, ‘Sons & Lovers’
Thomas Hardy ‘Jude The Obscure’, ‘The well-beloved’
Charlotte Bronte ‘Jane Eyre’
Jane Austen ‘Pride & Prejudice’
Oscar Wilde 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'
EM Forster ‘The longest journey’, ‘Monteriano’
John Steinbeck ‘East of Eden’
Nevil Shute ‘On the Beach’
Paul Bowles ‘The Sheltering Sky’
George Sand ‘La Petite Fadette’

I surely forget many ones... and poetry of course...
