Blood test was ok, no waiting or anything, just straight in and on the chair. I started feeling queasy just thinking about it and then the woman starts talking to me while she's taking the blood and I must have gone white coz she kept saying are you ok, are you ok? haha I also lost all knowledge of Icelandic while talking to her, so just kept giggling. It was over in 5 minutes So if there is anything to find out I will find out by friday. Now I have a sore crook of my arm and getting a bruise

Well my doctor said she should get them after 2 days, which would have been today, but no phonecall, so that either means there is nothing wrong, or she didn't get them?
I will call her Monday to check. |

I had to go to hospital yesterday because I may have fractured a rib at Muse on Saturday (but she couldn't tell and they don't x-ray for that) but she said I had to be careful I didn't get pneumonia again because that could happen.
She gave me a list of symptoms to watch out for and today I have all of them

I hope you're gonna be ok Hannah, this sucks
big hugs
I went to the doctor's today to get a script for a vaccine I should have had a while ago (yeah it's tough keeping up with all those immunizations and stuff) anyway, it was just a routine visit, and we got to talking, and he took my blood pressure, examined me and stuff, and he said words like "overworked" and "burned out".
That got my attention because I got back to work less than a week ago after 8 or 9 days off... but he said that I looked tired, that I sounded depressed and tired and fed up and whatever, and that if I didn't find a way to handle my workload and stress better, I'd be looking at serious problems, health-wise. He ordered some blood work to be done too... said if he could, he'd just keep me off work for a good month so I could rest and regain some energy. Weird thing is, I just feel fine. But apparently I'm overdoing it all the time, and my body is starting to show it (that's what those big black circles under my eyes mean, I guess!!)
anyways, if anyone has a solution, please tell me - I'm supposed to take it easy (but I have shitloads of work and it's gonna be that way at least until the end of the month) and find time to relax and relaxing stuff to do, too. Now don't tell me yoga, ok? I'm just allergic to it.
But I'll take any good suggestions.
If anything, I want to be in cracking form for my Muse gig mid november!!! _________________

I hate it!!!
whenever she goes to the Day Center thingy during the holidays, she comes back with lice a month later (little buggers take three weeks to a month to hatch)

Ugh, my sister used to get that all the time when she was at primary school (luckily she's gone up to secondary school this year) but they just spread to everyone in the house before you realise and they're so HORRIBLE and take so long to get rid of! I feel your pain! _________________ You won't be the first...

Guhhhh, I used to get head lice all the time. It was horrible! Especially when I got them off the children my mom used to childmind!
I came back from my mate's 18th today, it wasn't even a party, just me and 2 of her other friends, our little group basically, her parents, and some family members. My mom knows that her parents smoke, yet when I come home smelling of it she accuses me of smoking and smells my breath. Guh, it's just made me so angry. It's like she doesn't trust me. _________________ *Upcoming Gigs*

tell me about it (still venting about the lice, sorry)
this morning both Gaby and I are currently undergoing a special "bio" treatment that's supposed to be.. definitive. It smells horribly, ten more minutes to go with this thing on our heads lol
and then there's all the sheets and cushions and pillows that need to be washed..
There may be hope yet though, as I found out that lavender essential oil is a natural repulsive for lice, and you're supposed to dab a little behind your ears every day and from what I've read on the Internet, it works!!!! Who knows. We might be rid of them forever. fingers crossed _________________
