Aww Helen, i'm sorry to hear about that.

But if they had health issues maybe it was the best thing for them. Always sad to see an animal die though.

I'm about to end a bad/frustrating day by going to bed... I might just list things that happened very briefly instead of going into them.

- Woke up this morning after 8 hours sleep, a full night, still really tired
- Went for coffee this morning, no milk (at this point i knew the day wasn't going to go well)
- Had a 2 hour lab which was fine, then a 1 hour lecture with the most boring person I've ever seen!
- I've realised I can't do some simple maths problems.
- Adding and subtracting Binary numbers have been confusing me, I went to an optional tutor class to try and get that sorted out in my head and the tutor didn't turn up.
- Another lecture with somebody telling me things I already know
- Halls internet has been running at dial-up speed for the last week, despite 5 phone calls to the ISP and them claiming to have a fix ready for it, it's still NOT fixed. I've now got the halls management involved, hopefully that sorts it.
- Because of above problem with internet I can't do ANY work in my flat, the course materials are online based and the system used is slow as it is and keeps timing out.
- A website for a module I need to do work for doesn't exist.
- I overcooked my pasta
- Relationship problems... Instead of being 132 miles closer (10 minutes away instead of 3 hours) the relationship is more difficult instead of easier.

I'm going to bed.

Yeah had a better last couple of days, sorted things with Jolie, had a good chat with her yesterday, we were both in pretty rotten moods on tuesday so that didn't help!

I'm still struggling with a few aspects of my course at uni, mainly programming in C++ (I bet me just saying that to you sounds daunting, I have to make a proper program before the end of the year to pass this module!), my maths is still crap and halls internet is still dial-up speed.

Other than that, everything else has been OK.

I guess I'm still settling in trying to get used to things and being away from home, it's just taking longer than I thought.
