I just watched this film again tonight and it just makes me feel so happy, for many reasons. It's a great story, the chocolate looks amazing, you can tell how much everyone is enjoying it and johnny depp is in it.
I think every scene he is in that film, he just takes my breath away, I know thats sooo corny, but seriously he does. I think he is just...smouldering, in this film even more than another.
Just the whole eroticness of him eating the chocolate....mmmmmm sorry lol I'll tell you what the film is about, so you can see for yourselves

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0241303/
"Vianne Rocher and her young daughter are drifters who are met with skepticism and resistance when they move to a conservative town in rural France and open a chocolate shop during Lent. As Vianne begins to work her magic and help those around her, the townspeople are soon won-over by her exuberance and her delicious chocolates - except for the mayor, who is determined to shut her down. When a group of river drifters visit the town, Vianne teaches the townspeople something about acceptance, and finds love for herself along the way"

I did not like it at all. I just don't like America trying to take over Europe, its just like watching a ridiculous fantasy film. Shame really because it had a pretty good cast

By" America trying to take over Europe" are you talking about the producers of the film or something?
Personally I love that it's all magical, films are supposed to be like that, they don't have to be based on exact fact, especiallly when it's a fictional event. The town itself is a real town, except for the mountain shot at the end i think that was put in. Some was filmed in the UK and studios.
Maybe I am picking up what you meant wrong. Of course thats your opinion
I have seen much worse films where Hollywood takes over..Darby O Gill and the little people anyone? I have never in my life heard an Irish person honestly say, "top of the morning to ya" NEVER, pure hollywood invention ha

Well the fact that is in English for a start and is a very americanised take on a European film. It doesn't work in my opinion

I agree it should have been in French I could have handled that, but it was written by an English woman, so I'd say that is why, it was also filmed by a Swede, from the country not the vegetable
