The writers of all films and tv shows that are with the Screen Writers Guild are striking and there are no signs of them stopping soon. It is over payments they want from dvd sales etc..

Most shows we watch from the US have enough filmed episodes to last a month, but then there will be no more if the strike doesn't resume! read more about certain shows here.

Basically if you are watching your shows "from the net" you will not be able to get them if the strike goes on for a long time, if you are far behind watching them on regular tv then you prob don't have much to worry about 
I do support the writers though, just incase you were wondering

awww i hope it doesnt go on for too long, what will we do Karen, hehe most of my tv joy is due to american tv!! i hope they get what theyre striking for though!!

haha good one, the governator!! i was really pissed off when they cut prison break off for a few weeks, cause its on sky here now, but only a week behind america, so when they take a break we have to to!! i might go back to downloading again
