hehe... I loved the news story about the Swindle yesterday... it's just the governments and their 'climate buddies' trying to reel us nay sayers back in by making up other bollocks that the government are forcing them to say...

Thought I'd revive this... my thoughts tend to lean more toward the 'heading into a new ice age' theory. I really don't understand why there's all this hype about global warming when there's so much physical evidence from paleoclimatology - ice cores, sea sediments...

The sea naturally exudes CO2 *because* of heat, the way a fizzy drink goes flat when it's kept warm!

The thing is, with the whole 'Ice caps melting' so there is nothing to deflect the heat away from the Earth, hence we get hotter and all die etc etc etc, there is also a high probability that if this did actually happen, aka the ice caps did melt, there would be more water to evaporate, which would create more clouds which would act as a barrier to deflect UV rays back into space, so I really dunno where I stand regarding this topic. I think the Governments might hype it up a bit just so they have an element of control over the amount of fuel we use. Not some wacky ass conspiracy, I think they're just trying to conserve oil for the inevitable situation of when we run out, therefore by saying 'CO2 IS BAD! USE YOUR CARS LESS!' they save a fair amount of oil.
I dunno if any of what I just said makes sense, it's 1:40 in the morning, decipher it if you will.
